I’ll Fly Away

Some glad morning when this life is o’er,

I’ll fly away;
To a home on God’s celestial shore,
I’ll fly away.

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I’ll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I’ll fly away.

Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I’ll fly away.

I’ll fly away, Oh glory,
I’ll fly away
When I die, Hallelujah by and by,
I’ll fly away.

Romans 8:18

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Galatians 6:9

And let us grow weary while doing god, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

There are all kinds of disappointments in this world, but God has something wonderful in store for us. If we keep working for Him and obeying Him we’ll be able to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. This world is nothing compared to what is waiting for us.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
